God Busted: An Anatomy of God

Man created God for one sole purpose: to answer some unanswered questions of man such as where we came from or how the universe was created.  Man created so many gods to answer all of his needs: the Greco-Roman gods, Aztec gods, Mayan gods, Norse gods, Egyptian gods and many more. One of those gods was the god of the Jews, which became the Christian God to the Christians and Allah to the Muslims.

Today, the gods of the Greeks, Aztecs and the Egyptians are considered mythical. People today consider those gods as false because of their mortal imperfections: shallow and can easily be fooled by their own creations. Unlike those gods, the gods of the monotheistic religions, like the Christian God is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, omnibenevolent and eternal. Continue reading

The Sad Filipino Reality

Yesterday marked the first year of Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III’s presidency.

In last year’s SONA, President Noynoy pointed out the problems his administration has inherited from the Arroyo government and how he plans to put solutions to these problems. He also claimed Filipinos can dream again. One year has passed since we tasked Noynoy to run our government and country. Most of us are somewhat optimistic that the next one would be a better leader and will make this country great once again.

When President Noynoy took office, many of us who did not vote for him still supported his plans, and held on to his promise that he will bring us to the Straight Path (“Daang Matuwid“). Continue reading

The Bible  is considered the most printed Religious book aside from the Qur’an  in the world, with more than 6 billion or more copies published. It’s has two parts: the Old Testament, which is comprised of a minimum of 39 books of Hebrew Scriptures, and the New Testament, which has 27 books. The CruciFiction of a Man Named Jesus Christ

Two thousand years ago, a man named Jesus the Christ whom the Christians revered as the god incarnated as man, was executed through crucifixion. The mainstream Christian religions of the world believed that this man died on the cross in a place called Cavalry, in the outskirt of Jerusalem.
